The rubber used in both our Wool Topped and Cotton Mattresses is also tested for toxic VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) to ensure not one fiber that touches your child’s skin is synthetic. Both standard organic infant mattresses start with a 1.5 inch thick organic, rubber core. This provides a nice level of support and firmness while keeping it lightweight and breathable. The outside of the Organic Quilted Cotton Outer Infant Mattress is then covered with its namesake for a comfortable and incredibly pure finish.

Our Organic Wool Topped Infant Mattress is wrapped with a wool puddle pad which makes it perfect for spills and accidents. The pad’s wool is a natural repellant to liquids and makes this mattress very economical as no further puddle pad is required; simply spot clean with water and baking soda for a nice clean surface. Just like its cotton counterpart, this mattress is safe, breathable and absolutely healthy for your baby.

Finally, for those of you who fear the 1.5 inch rubber core is just not thick enough, we offer our Extra Thick Wool Topped Infant Mattress. All aspects of this mattress are identical to the thinner version, except of course for the 3 inch rubber core.
